Recent Development in LS-DYNA

Abstract

Ls-Dyna development goals and LSTC`s vision. Current status of Ls-Prepost, including the new 50th percentile updated Hybrid III dummy model. New features in Ls-Dyna version 971 R3, R4 and upcoming version 980, with examples from meshfree (EFG/SPH) and particle methods for manufacturing simulations and airbag deployment.

Update on the new compressible/incompressible fluid and electromagnetic solvers in version 980.
