Sensitivity analysis of the constraints positioning the glass of a pyrolytic furnace

Abstract

The glasses of the doors of the pyrolityc furnaces undergo heavy thermal cycles, which cause new issues in the design of their anchors. In order to conduct the design phase by reducing the prototype costs, a thermo-structural FEM analysis campaign has been performed using the software ANSYS. The multi-objective optimization software modeFRONTIER has been used to determine the best positioning and dimensions of the constraints.
