Success and challenges of the Jaguar LandRover MDO with modeFRONTIER

Abstract

Many hurdles have to be crossed to set up an MDO in an OEM environments. This presentation describes some of the encountered challenges at Jaguar Landover. The MDO process at JLR is fully integrated in the product development cycle and has shown great benefit to the vehicle design process. Though each environment will have its own challenges, the benefit of a successful MDO are universal.
