Flowmaster V7 Aerospace

The Aerospace enterprise solution has been developed to meet the needs of the Aerospace industry, giving the users the possibility to design and simulate all the aircraft systems efficiently.

Flowmaster V7 Aerospace allows to study and model the hydraulic system during the design process, optimizing its effectiveness and reducing the manufacturing costs but also evaluating effectively the design modifications and the circuit lifecycle while using the aircraft.

The possibility to describe the movement of the network in the 3D-space, together with the capability to apply external forces to the system, allows for the modeling of all flight manoeuvres, from take off to turns and landing. Moreover, it is possible to model the fluid mixing and to compute the mixture properties.

Study and simulation of the environment control systems are possible and effective thanks to specific components, such as gaspers controlled by the passengers, mix manifolds that models the mixing of fresh air from cooling pack and re-circulating air from the cabin, vents, components modeling the heating effect caused by people in the cabin, auxiliary power units in the aircraft, water separators modeling moisture removal in the conditioning systems, Piccolo Tube for anti-ice systems, different types of Air Cycle Machine, including: fans, compressor and turbines.

Study and simulation of fuel systems are possible and effective thanks to the presence of different types of fuels commonly used for aircrafts and thanks to specific components, such as jet pumps, characterized by typical Aerospace input data, as well reception couplings used for modeling ground and flight refueling of aircrafts.
