modeFRONTIER: Introductive Course
EnginSoft offers tailor-made training in modeFRONTIER dedicated to your specific requirements and at various location within the network.
The course, consisting in two days, introduces to modeFRONTIER architecture and to the available tools for the exploration of the design space: the DOE (Design of Experiment), the multi-objective optimization, the creation of response surfaces, the decision making. The typical logic of the optimization process aims at the configuration of the associated work-flow to be treated with modeFRONTIER. The issues considered are the definition of the project variables, the objective characterization, and the formalization of virtual models or of direct testing layers, necessary to evaluate the effects of the project variables on the result.
Special attention is devoted to those tools suitable for the different activities: from graphic interface to algorithm for the DOE, from methods to build response surfaces, to algorithms for multi-objective optimization (with special regard to the evolutionary methods), till the MCDM techniques (Multi Criteria Decision Making) to organize the solution on the Pareto frontier, according to the subjective utility criteria. Furthermore the principal complementary aspects (such as the associated IT problems and the solutions offered by the system; coupling with software for models generation and associated calculation, the post-processing of results and tools for graphic representation.
